Tatoo Nylon is an opaque polyurethane film for coated textiles. It can be printed on using eco-solvent, solvent, latex and UV printers. Tatoo Nylon has a matt surface and is PVC-free.

Nylon and other coated textiles

Transfer films often have adhesion problems on nylon textiles.

This is not due to the material nylon itself, but to its coating. Nylon is often coated with a variety of materials to make it water and dirt repellent. These coatings not only repel water, but also the hot-melt adhesive used in standard films. There are hundreds of different coatings, but there is a simple test to find out whether you need Tatoo Nylon: a small drop of water.
